Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract.
• Experience with ASME BPVC and ASCE 7 is advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the design of a novel advanced reactor.
• Perform thermomechanical analyses of reactor internals and materials.
• Apply ASME BPVC, ASCE 7, and DOE-related codes to analyses and design.
• Develop physics-based models to support design decisions and verification.
• Provide technical guidance and peer review for fellow engineers.
• Prepare and contribute to professional reports and presentations.
