Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect progress data, and assist in assessments under BCBA supervision, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance throughout patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and professionals, ongoing training, and support for social and daily living skills development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
• A background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
