Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities to implement ABA-based techniques. You will provide patient care, conduct assessments, and collect data to monitor progress.

The role collaborates with a BCBA, families, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic care, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support social, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and records management.
• Strong patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and team.
• Commitment to HIPAA confidentiality.
• Background in special education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
