Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in person. You will implement ABA-based strategies, collect data, and support assessments under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes patient care, confidentiality, and collaboration with families and educators to improve daily living and social skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavior therapy techniques.
• Familiar with medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and teammates.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and data collection.
• Experience collaborating with families and other professionals.
• Background in special education or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake to gather information.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training to enhance skills in behavioral health and education.
• Support clients in social, communication, and daily living skills.
