Job summary

Cloudera seeks a Manager, Applied AI Strategy and Operations to drive global governance, analytics, and strategic initiatives for Private AI growth. You will partner with Forward Deployed Engineers, industry specialists, and senior leaders to translate complex signals into actionable guidance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, portfolio analyses, and scalable processes across AMER/EMEA/APAC, with base pay and incentives. 6+ years in sales strategy or operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and structuring skills.
• Analytical with CRM data and customer insights.
• Ability to communicate with C-suite and leaders.
• Familiarity with enterprise data management and hybrid cloud.
• Proficient in GTM systems and BI tools; SQL is a plus.
• Autonomy in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance and operating rhythms for the global Applied AI org across AMER, EMEA, APAC.
• Track AI adoption funnel across four stages: Discovery, Solution, Pilot, Production.
• Prioritize target accounts and develop use-case frameworks with field teams.
• Define and standardize KPIs around subscription and consumption-based adoption.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners (NVIDIA Blueprints, VAST) and Revenue Ops.
• Design scalable processes for tracking allocations and productization.
• Support business planning and executive storytelling.
