Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Business Data Analyst to drive applied AI experimentation across Talent Analytics, workforce planning, and broader people insights.

This hands-on role prototypes AI PoCs, tests ideas at scale, and connects local work to Intuit's enterprise AI transformations and contextual layer. The position operates in ambiguity, translating technical experiments into business-ready insights, and collaborating across AI initiatives to ensure governance, provenance, and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business/data analytics or applied AI/ML roles with hands-on ownership of building and shipping solutions.
• Direct hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered tools/prototypes (e.g., Claude, GPT).
• Experience with data warehouse concepts, data pipelines, and data architecture.
• Experience with dashboard/BI design and self-serve/conversational analytics, including data source certification.
• Ability to define confidence tiers and governance for AI-generated outputs and scope large initiatives.
• Strong ability to evaluate feasibility and communicate build/no-build recommendations to leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for translating experimentation into decisions at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate AI proof-of-concept experiments across talent analytics, workforce planning, and people data.
• Create agent-assisted analytics with clear decision boundaries and governance.
• Scan for new AI capabilities and determine pilots worth pursuing.
• Define dashboards and visualization patterns for prototypes advancing to self-serve analytics.
• Label AI outputs by confidence tier and ensure provenance and traceability.
• Partner with enterprise AI Transformation to align with standards and roadmaps.
• Contribute to HR contextual layer with domain definitions and shared context.
• Provide reliable estimates and write specs for ambiguous initiatives.
