Job summary

Samsara, a leading Connected Operations platform, seeks an embedded AI Engineer in Customer Success to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain agentic AI solutions. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from prompts to production, ensuring reliability and relevance as the product evolves.

The role emphasizes Python proficiency, integrations with Salesforce and other tools, and a strong focus on customer outcomes in a remote US-based setting. 3+ years in software/AI production is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production LLM-based agents or automations.
• Python proficiency and ability to connect AI to external systems (CRMs, APIs, data).
• Ability to define success metrics and eval frameworks before coding.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Build: Design agent architectures, prompts, and integrate with external systems; write clean Python code.
• Test: Define success criteria and eval frameworks; build automated test suites for real-world scenarios.
• Deploy: Own deployment, versioning, and rollback plans; production-ready agents.
• Monitor: Track performance, accuracy, latency, drift; monitor customer outcomes.
• Maintain & Iterate: Update agents as product and playbooks evolve with data.
• Champion cultural principles (Customer Success focus, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusivity).
