Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC seeks an Applications Engineer to bridge robotic systems and customer applications, translating requirements into deployable solutions and validating them on real hardware. You will support training and field feedback across mechanical, controls, software, and vision disciplines.

You will own requirements and projects, integrate sensors and motion subsystems, develop test protocols, and deliver products with customer training and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across mechanical, controls, software, and vision disciplines.
• Experience with sensors and motion systems (encoders, laser range finders, camera optics, load cells).
• Experience delivering products to customers, including requirements definition, training, and feedback iteration.
• Experience developing and executing test protocols and documenting results to industry standards.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Experience CAD, GD&T, engineering drawings, and metrology concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into specifications, objectives, requirements, and timelines, and drive projects from definition through delivery.
• Integrate sensors and motion subsystems across interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop and execute test protocols and validate systems on real hardware.
• Deliver products to customers, conduct training, and improve applications from field feedback.
• Apply CAD, GD&T, engineering drawings, and metrology concepts to define and verify requirements.
