Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to design and implement automation solutions that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems. You will lead proof-of-concept projects, travel to customer sites, and commission robotic cells.

You will train customer teams on hardware and software, support post-install, and collaborate with sales and engineering to scale solutions across diverse manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with industrial automation fundamentals (PLC, pneumatics, robotics).
• Ability to design and troubleshoot complex automation integrations across mechanical, electrical and software domains.

Responsibilities

• Design and build proof-of-concept automation solutions for customer sites.
• Lead field installation, wiring, and commissioning of robotic cells.
• Train customers on Standard Bots hardware and software and support post-install.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to tailor integrations to customer needs.
