Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Application Engineer to act as the primary technical resource for the outside sales team, designing and engineering electronic controls solutions to meet customer system requirements. You will work with outside sales and customers to develop and refine system specifications, organize design concepts, develop costing and prepare proposals to support outside sales.

Responsibilities include training customers and the outside sales team on product technologies,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required; 0–2 years related experience.
Proficient use of CAD software and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication with technical and non-technical personnel.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer electronic controls solutions to meet customer system requirements.
Collaborate with outside sales team and customers to develop and refine system specifications.
Develop costing and prepare proposals to support outside sales.
Train customers and outside sales teams on product technologies.
Provide real-time technical support to outside sales team and customers.
