Job summary

LHH is seeking an Applications Engineer in Tulsa, OK to support sales and engineering by translating customer requirements into practical analytical instrumentation configurations. You will review RFQs, P&IDs, and datasheets, and develop accurate BOMs to back quotations.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams, selecting analyzers and handling equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong communication and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years in natural gas measurement or analytical instrumentation.
Ability to read P&IDs and equipment data sheets.
Experience with RFQ reviews and BOM development.

Responsibilities

Review RFQs, technical specs, P&IDs, drawings, data sheets, and scope documents.
Translate requirements into practical system configurations and equipment selections.
Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support quotations and estimating.
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for documentation, pricing, and lead times.
Provide technical support to sales teams and customers during quotation process.
Develop standardized BOMs, configurations, and application guidelines.
