ASSA ABLOY in Tulsa, OK, seeks a driven Applications Engineer to bridge engineering and sales by configuring and customizing products for customers. You will leverage SolidWorks and CPQ tools to create accurate configurations and documentation for quotes.

The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in engineering design or applications engineering, and the ability to work through complex configurations with cross-functional teams. Occasional travel is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering design, product development, applications engineering role, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM, including configurations and documentation with PDM systems.
• Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams and communicate with customers, sales teams, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and contribute to CPQ system development.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with sales and applications engineering teams to develop configurable product solutions.
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models and configurations to support quoting and sales activities.
• Develop tools, templates, and documentation that streamline product selection and customization.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into viable product configurations.
• Support the development and use of CPQ systems and ensure configurations comply with engineering standards.
