Job summary

Traka Group in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Applications Engineer with a strong mechanical background to configure and customize products for sales support. You will bridge engineering and sales, develop manufacturable customer solutions, and create SolidWorks models and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering, 5+ years design/engineering experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM, and familiarity with CPQ tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering design, product development, or applications engineering.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and plan/execute with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and applications engineering teams to develop configurable product solutions.
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models and configurations to support quoting and sales activities.
• Develop tools, templates, and documentation that streamline product selection and customization.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into viable product configurations.
• Support the development of CPQ systems.
• Ensure all configured solutions comply with engineering standards and manufacturing capabilities.
