Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering design and customer requirements. You will tailor mechanical solutions, prepare BOMs and reports, and support customers from pre-sale to post-sale, including on-site visits when needed.

The role emphasizes reading engineering drawings, collaborating across teams, and staying current with industry trends and technologies. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in related fields are desired.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required.
Experience in mechanical engineering or applications engineering preferred.
Proficiency reading blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
Prepare technical documentation, including CAD drawings, BOMs, and application reports.
Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
Communicate complex technical information clearly to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
Other duties as assigned.
