Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering design and customer requirements. You will tailor mechanical solutions, prepare CAD drawings and BOMs, and provide technical support during both pre-sale and post-sale stages.

The role requires collaboration with sales, design, and production teams and ongoing engagement with customers. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years in mechanical or applications engineering, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or applications engineering.
• Experience with EPC contractors and rotating equipment knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Experience bidding and managing industrial equipment projects.
• Familiarity with distribution models and industrial equipment sales.
• Experience with rotating equipment product lines and sizing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, design, and production to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
• Prepare CAD drawings, BOMs, and application reports.
• Provide technical support during pre-sale and post-sale, including on-site visits when required.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
