OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering design and customer requirements. You will collaborate across sales, design, and production to tailor mechanical solutions and support customers from pre-sale to post-sale. Strong CAD skills and experience with rotating equipment are essential.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, proposing configurations, and staying current with industry trends while handling multiple projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in mechanical engineering or applications engineering.
• Experience with rotating equipment and EPC contractors.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, including CAD drawings, BOMs, and application reports.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
