Job summary

#twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to support industrial manufacturing and power generation customers in the Northeast Atlanta area. The role blends engineering expertise with direct customer communication, pricing, and order execution, requiring strong technical and sales skills.

You will review specifications, size motors and generators, prepare quotes, and coordinate with sales, engineering, planning, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Applications or industrial engineering in manufacturing required.
• Technical customer-facing experience required.
• Ability to explain technical information to engineers and buyers required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel 1-2 times per year within the U.S. and Canada required.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and define product and application needs.
• Select and size motors and generators using technical data and internal tools.
• Prepare technical quotes with pricing, lead times, and supporting documentation.
• Discuss technical questions and quotation details directly with customers.
• Track orders from entry through delivery and resolve open technical issues.
• Coordinate project needs with sales, engineering, planning, and manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned smaller orders.
• Help improve sales tools, training materials, and product documentation.
