Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Buford, GA is seeking an Industrial Automation Sales Engineer to grow OEM machine manufacturer relationships and industrial wastewater accounts. You will develop technical solutions, prepare quotes, manage projects, and act as a trusted advisor to customers.

This is a direct hire on-site role for training. After ramping, the position becomes field-based with daily travel across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia; occasional overnight travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sale experience in the Automation industry handling OEM or Industrial clients.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.
• Ability to develop new business, prospect independently, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to manage all stages of the sales funnel from prospecting through closing and account development.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly develop product and application knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with OEM machine manufacturers and industrial wastewater clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and sell industrial automation products, services, engineering solutions, and custom control panel/production capabilities.
• Work closely with customers, engineering, inside sales, and production teams to develop technical solutions, prepare quotes, manage projects, negotiate pricing and terms, and grow existing accounts.
