Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Application Engineer to own the application matrix for transmission and driveline products and to serve as the main interface between the Chief Engineer group and vehicle teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in product development design and release with propulsion systems experience.
• Experience with collaborative and global teams.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills (read/write).
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project).

Responsibilities

• Owns application matrix and interfaces between CE group and vehicle teams.
• Supports development of high-level interfaces and program requirements.
• Coordinates packaging studies and vehicle adaptations.
• Leads design change coordination and platform approvals.
• Reviews and approves application checklists for CNs.
• Coordinates design variants, controls and calibration strategies.
• Acts as a liaison for vehicle assembly plant requirements and events.
• Drives audits, readiness tasks and benchmarking with leadership.
