Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Application Engineer to own the application matrix and serve as the main interface between the Chief Engineer group and vehicle teams for transmission and driveline program requirements and delivery.

You will support high-level matrix development, ensure design envelope compliance, and coordinate vehicle integration studies across variants and platforms. Strong collaboration across global teams and proficiency with MS Office are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in product development design and release, with at least 1 year in propulsion systems.
• Experience working with collaborative and global teams.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills (reading/writing).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Owns the Application Matrix and acts as primary interface between CE group and vehicle teams for requirements and delivery of transmission and driveline products.
• Supports development of high-level Applications Matrix and interface requirements for programs across variants and platforms.
• Ensures all applications comply with design envelopes of transmission and driveline products.
• Coordinates packaging studies to meet clearance requirements and leads vehicle adaptation studies.
• negotiates requirements with vehicle platforms based on product limitations and capabilities.
• Defines and tracks vehicle and system-level functional objectives and manages design variants with controls and calibration strategies.
