Cleaver-Brooks seeks an Applications Engineer in Milwaukee, WI, to support sales reps with custom applications, review specifications, and develop quotes. You will work closely with production, R&D, and technical services to manage product data and CPQ configurations used in ordering processes.

The role emphasizes engineering knowledge, customer interface, and ability to navigate CPQ/ERP systems, with travel and cross-functional collaboration as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• 1–3 years mechanical or electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to learn CPQ programming language and related software tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough product knowledge and review project drawings and specs.
• Provide sales quotations and product information to support proposals.
• Gather cost data from BOMs and drawings to develop quotations for reps.
• Maintain and update standard product data, literature, and pricing for CPQ.
• Communicate with external suppliers for pricing and lead times.
