Job summary

Borland Groover is seeking an Applications Analyst to provide frontline and escalated support for financial and administrative applications in a gastroenterology physician practice. You will partner with providers, nursing, scheduling, billing and leadership to ensure reliable patient management workflows and EMR systems, troubleshoot issues, support upgrades, and participate in rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data review in Excel.
• Experience with NextGen and/or Luma Health is highly preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA/privacy practices and role-based access concepts.
• Healthcare or ambulatory practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support for practice applications with emphasis on patient management and EMR/workflow.
• Provide end-user support via ticketing, phone, and in-person/remote assistance.
• Troubleshoot issues by reproducing problems, analyzing logs, and coordinating with vendors.
• Assist with application updates, patches, testing, and communicate training outcomes.
• Create and maintain user guides and deliver basic training for new hires.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed.
