• This position is hybrid (3 days onsite) in our FIS Office locations in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), Jacksonville (Florida), & Atlanta (Georgia).

About the role:

As a Systems Administrator/Application Support Engineer, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks, and invests. You'll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.

The Wealth and Retirement Technology team is a global group of technologists, engineers, and data center support staff driven to provide best-in-class services for our clients and products. Our talented team is especially supportive, respectful, passionate, collaborative, and most of all, fun!

What you will be doing:

• Deployment of Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers.
• Work with engineers located locally and overseas.
• Deploying and maintaining Unity in UAT & production, pre-prod, test, and performance environments.
• Open technical cases with hardware & software vendors to resolve problems.
• Analytical problem-solving for complex multi-tiered applications.
• Troubleshoot using tools like WireShark and browser development tools.
• Apply broad technology knowledge with automation software.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify root causes of issues.
• Perform disaster recovery testing and planning.
• Provide feedback to Development for service improvements.
• Participate in non-standard working hours, including weekends and 24-hour shifts.
• Experience with Windows, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

What you will need:

• Knowledge of SQL Server Database technologies.
• Experience with RedHat Linux OS.
• Knowledge of IDP / SSO, WAF.
• Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2016, 2019, 2022.
• Experience with IIS, Apache (reverse proxy).
• Understanding of Windows security.
• Experience with load-balanced applications (NetScaler preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

Experience with products like Octopus, Sisense, Decisions is helpful.
