Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking an Application Integration Developer for a remote, 6-month contractual-to-hire engagement. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable integrations across HR, Finance, and IT services using Workday, Dynamics, Quickbase, and Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in enterprise integration, hands-on Workday integration development, and experience with low-code tools, APIs, and cloud services to streamline operations and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
• 3+ years of experience with Workday integration development.
• Experience with integrating cloud-based SaaS ecosystems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with Workday, Dynamics and other HR/Finance integrations.
• Experience with low-code platforms like Quickbase and Power Apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Develop Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, and web services.
• Create and maintain data exchanges in XML/JSON and related formats.
• Build workflow automation with Power Automate, Azure, Freshservice Orchestration, UI Path, and Quickbase.
• Design event-driven and message-based integrations and ensure security and reliability.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration specifications and data mappings.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot interface failures and data issues; provide RCA and fixes.
• Participate in SDLC activities and produce technical documentation and runbooks.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural improvements to enhance integration capabilities.

Job Description :

The Application Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise application integrations that enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across the organization. This role partners with business stakeholders, application owners, architects, and technical teams to deliver integration solutions that support critical business processes across Human Resources, Finance, Recruiting, IT Service Management, and other corporate functions.

The position supports a diverse application portfolio including Workday, Freshservice, iCIMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Adaptive Planning, Quickbase, Azure, and MS Power Platform. The Application Integration Developer leverages APIs, web services, workflow automation, cloud technologies, and integration platforms to streamline business operations, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors through a variety of methodologies including REST, SOAP, and file exchanges ensuring security, scalability, reliability, telemetry, and error handling throughout.
• Develop and support Workday integrations utilizing Studio, Orchestrate, and Workday web services.
• Create and maintain integrations utilizing XML, JSON, and other industry-standard data exchange formats.
• Develop workflow automation solutions using available technologies including Power Automate, Azure, Freshservice Orchestration, UI Path. and Quickbase.
• Design and implement event-driven and message-based integrations using available tools.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications, data mappings, and solution designs.
• Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot interface failures, data discrepancies, and process exceptions. Providing RCA and corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, workflow diagrams, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development standards and integration capabilities.

Job Requirements

Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) or more years of experience developing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with Workday integration development.
• Experience supporting complex SaaS ecosystems and integrating cloud-based business applications.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or similar development methodologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Workday, Dynamics and other HR and Finance systems and integrations.
• Experience with low-code platforms such as Quickbase, Microsoft Power Apps, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with healthcare systems and data, including understanding of HIPAA, PHI protection, and healthcare regulatory compliance, is preferred
