Amphenol Corporation is seeking an Application Development Engineer to develop new opportunities and strengthen strategic customer relationships across North America. You will interface with customers, engineering, product marketing, and sales to design reliable interconnect solutions for diverse markets.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, strong PCB design expertise, and collaboration with a global team to accelerate new product development and win major accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global organization.
• Experience interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This role is critical to supporting Amphenol's growth in Automotive, Robotics, Energy Storage & AI infrastructure and involves designing reliable hardware and interconnect solutions.
• Develops solutions addressing customer needs and technical requirements.
• Lead internal design reviews and present concepts to customers.
• Create technical presentations and maintain engineering documentation.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, debugging, and hardware troubleshooting.
