Job summary
Amphenol Corporation's FCI Basics is seeking an Application Development Engineer in North America. You will interface with customers, internal engineering, and sales to develop interconnect solutions and drive new product concepts.
The role emphasizes hands-on PCB design, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead technical presentations and design reviews, with travel as needed, to deliver on roadmap commitments and support growth in automotive, robotics, and AI
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Deep PCB design expertise and hands-on prototyping experience.
- Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence/OrCAD, KiCad, etc.).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop interconnect solutions and lead design reviews with customers.
- Interface with product development, marketing, and sales teams.
- Create technical presentations and drive new product concepts.
- Prototyping, testing, debugging, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Lead customer engagements and ensure on-time deliverables.
