Key Responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements into internal connector design outputs
• Develop technical deliverables including datasheets, 3D models, and drawing packages for customer release
• Validate datasheet and design outputs through coordination with internal engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to ensure feasibility and compliance
• Develop and maintain cost sheets using established templates and accurate inputs
• Ensure compliance with existing product standards, libraries, and design rules
• Support creation and maintenance of technical documentation for new and existing designs

What You Bring to the Table

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately interpret and convert customer requirements into technical outputs
• Intermediate to advanced SolidWorks experience (3D modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation)
• Strong attention to detail with consistency in technical documentation and cost data
• Ability to follow defined engineering processes with minimal deviation
• High sense of urgency with ability to execute quickly under tight timelines
• Experience in connector design, including mechanical/electrical interface understanding, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Background in mechanical engineering or mechanical technologist role with applied product development experience
