Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking an Application Delivery Technical Lead to guide software engineers in designing and delivering enterprise solutions that align with IT standards. You will mentor teams, develop code, and ensure quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in database technologies.
• 5 years of experience on projects involving SDLC.
• 3 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and high level design.
• Experience in RPG, Java, SQL, Angular, APIs design and implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation on business requirements and functional specifications; supports project lifecycle with leadership input.
• Reviews development or modification of highly complex, enterprise software solutions.
• 50/50 role with 50% design/mentorship and 50% hands-on delivery of code.
• Develops and validates highly complex software design prototypes; ensures designs adhere to architecture standards.
• Leverages technical direction for development, configuration, or modification of integrated business solutions.
• Ensures requirements, design, and test scripts are documented for enhancements.
