**Job Description:**
This position involves complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing them.
(e.g., electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing and collections, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, consumer and patient-facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, CRM)
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance of healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle (e.g., selection, implementation, support, archival, decommissioning).
They provide strategic guidance, align application support with organizational goals, manage projects, and mentor other analysts, developing best practices and standards.
Principal analysts may supervise lower-level analysts.
Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision and include analyzing problems, gathering requirements, configuring systems, documenting workflows, partnering with vendors, solving issues, managing projects, mentoring, developing standards, and participating in training and testing.
They also handle hardware integration, develop business reports, participate in on-call duties, manage budgets, and engage with industry groups and leadership meetings.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, or related field, specific Epic certifications and experience, and at least 8 years in a healthcare setting.
Physical requirements involve operating computers, visual acuity, and long periods of sitting or standing.
Location: Peaks Regional Office, Broomfield, Colorado. Work hours: 40 per week. Salary range: $53.58 - $84.36/hour.
