This position involves complex to expert level work supporting healthcare information technology applications. Responsibilities include planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing these systems, such as electronic health records, scheduling, billing, lab, radiology, and other healthcare technologies.
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle, providing strategic guidance and project management. They mentor other analysts and develop best practices for application deployment, support, and decommissioning.
The role may include supervising lower-level analysts and performing tasks independently with minimal supervision. Key functions include troubleshooting, requirements gathering, system configuration, documentation, vendor collaboration, project management, mentoring, and participating in industry groups.
Skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office, system analysis, problem-solving, communication, project management, and resource planning. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, or related fields, relevant Epic certifications, experience with Epic Care Management tools, and healthcare work experience.
This position is based at the Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado, with scheduled weekly hours of 40. The hourly rate ranges from $53.58 to $84.36, dependent on experience.
