Job description

**Job Description:**

This position involves complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing these systems.

Responsibilities include managing various healthcare applications such as electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, lab, radiology, PACS, pharmacy, and others, throughout their lifecycle.

The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance, providing strategic guidance to align application support with organizational goals. They manage projects, mentor staff, and develop best practices and standards.

Supervision of lower-level analysts may be required.

**Essential Functions:**

  1. Support stakeholders by analyzing and diagnosing issues.
  2. Translate technological requirements into design specifications.
  3. Configure, test, install, and maintain systems.
  4. Document workflows and technical designs.
  5. Partner with vendors for third-party application support.
  6. Resolve complex issues and incidents.
  7. Manage projects, ensuring organization and planning align with goals.
  8. Review team projects and manage resources.
  9. Mentor team members and identify training opportunities.
  10. Develop and follow best practices and standards.
  11. Follow documentation and change management procedures.
  12. Create training materials for peers and end-users.
  13. Configure hardware and software integrations.
  14. Develop business reporting needs.
  15. Participate in on-call duties.
  16. Maintain testing plans and scripts.
  17. Participate in meetings and contribute to information flow.
  18. Assist in budget processes and project forecasting.
  19. Engage with industry groups and community discussions.
  20. Manage IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategy.
  21. Report project benefits and lessons learned.
  22. Provide detailed project information to leadership.
  23. Conduct service reviews and follow-up on improvement processes.

**Skills:**

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Project, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of business and applications.
  • Understanding of system analysis and hospital operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related field.
  • Healthy Planet Compass Rose certification.
  • 3+ years Epic Care Management build experience.
  • 2+ years Epic Compass Rose program experience.
  • Experience with collaborative care plans and SDoH.
  • Experience with Reporting Workbench and Epic modules.
  • Strong Epic application build and maintenance skills.
  • Eight years of healthcare experience.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Operate computers and IT equipment.
  • Read monitors and documents.
  • Remain seated or standing for long periods.

**Location:** Peaks Regional Office, Broomfield, Colorado

**Hours:** 40 per week

The hourly range is $53.58 - $84.36, based on experience.
