Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking an Application Administrator I to design and configure applications supporting care and administrative workflows. The role collaborates with department super users, vendors, and education and support teams to optimize deployments and upgrades.

The position focuses on one primary area—customer access, revenue cycle, clinical, or administrative applications—and reports to the IT Application Administrator Lead or IT Project Manager, participating as an application

About this position

The Application Administrator I is an application design and configuration resource for vendor-purchased and NMHC developed applications. Acts as liaison with designated department super users, application vendors, education and support staff regarding application upgrades, service requests, and optimization. The Application Administrator I focuses on one primary area of expertise. Application focus areas include: customer access, revenue cycle, clinical, ancillary department and/or administrative or corporate applications. This position functions as an application team member, often times taking work direction from the IT Application Administrator Lead or IT Project Manager. The Application Administrator I works closely with the IT Resource Educators and Customer Support staff to maintain and support the application system environment.

Requirements

Education

• Required certification/associate degree or 3 years of related application use with business or health care work experience.
• Prefer bachelor's degree in information technology, health care of related field.

Experience

• - Care Everywhere or EpicCare Link experience preferred
• Required 1-3 years of professional IT working experience with EPIC.
• Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills for process improvement or problem resolution.
• Knowledge of customer service methodology and accountability.
• Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies and applications.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and willingness for taking on additional responsibilities.

Licensure/Certification

• Maintained professional/clinical competence, certification and/or licensure as applicable.
