Job summary

Lowe's Stores in Conway, AR is seeking a Sales Specialist to guide customers through home improvement projects and close sales. You will become the product expert, communicating specifications, features, promotions, and financing options while helping customers meet their goals.

You will work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, or Tools, depending on hiring needs and skillsets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, including estimates, scheduling installer visits, and following up on projects.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors and stores for merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and departmental requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach around development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
