Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be one of the first associates customers meet in-store, helping them find products and transform project ideas into reality in a fast-paced environment.

You will become the product expert across departments, discussing project needs, answering questions, and helping customers close a sale. The role includes bonus opportunities, health insurance options, and an associate discount.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales)
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Lift minimum 25 lbs unassisted (or more with assistance)
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide good customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services
• Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders and installations, and follow up
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors/stores to reorder
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and department communications
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development
• Complete other duties as assigned
