Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to products and services to complete home improvement projects. You will become the product expert, explaining specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You may work in various departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, or Tools, with opportunities for growth and bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year (or equivalent) experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience.
1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
Sales licensure/registration if required by law (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products.
Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors, estimating projects, scheduling installers, and tracking orders.
In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to find merchandise and replacements.
Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
Support checkout functions and in-store communication; assist customers on the sales floor.
Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
