Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be among the first associates customers meet, leveraging sales expertise to help customers find products and realize home improvement goals.

You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, features, and financing options to close sales. In this role, you’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, with opportunities to grow through bonus plans, health options, and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills required.
• Experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience preferred.
• Ability to meet sales goals and metrics.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for stock replenishment.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and document maintenance.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
