Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work in one of several departments, moving throughout the store, answering questions, and helping customers complete projects while maintaining high service standards and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience, or equivalent external sales experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; stand and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates, installer visits, orders and follow-ups.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Complete price reviews and support all checkout and service requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and support development needs.
