Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician to service LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units across the North Detroit metro area including Pontiac, Troy, and Waterford. You will diagnose, repair, and document issues while delivering excellent customer service and representing LG professionally.

Requirements include 1 year in a technical role and the ability to obtain EPA Certification; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, and repair or replace parts.
• Process paperwork and data entry after each job.
• Pre-screen next day service calls to diagnose issues before arriving at the home.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time).
