Job summary

Micro Center seeks an Apple Champion to diagnose and repair Apple products and provide outstanding customer support in a fast-paced service environment.

You’ll stay at the forefront of technology, mentor developing technicians, and play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and operational success. Base pay is $22/hour with an opportunity to earn up to $35.50/hour through productivity-based incentives; bonus and commission eligibility apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• At least one year of computer service repair or technical customer service experience.
• Industry certifications preferred and required within 90 days of hire.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for shift duration and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and document hardware failures or software problems on Apple electronics and communicate with customers via multiple channels.
• Meet productivity, customer satisfaction, and sales goals for the service shop.
• Maintain Apple performance metrics and complete service system transactions accurately.
• Utilize technical manuals and stay updated on retail products and technologies.
• Mentor Apprentice technicians pursuing Apple certifications.
• Provide weekly reporting on customer satisfaction and product summaries.
