Groundswell is a premier technology integrator resolving complex challenges for federal agencies. The Appian Test Engineering Lead will shape QA strategy, design test environments, and guide a testing team across remote and hybrid work settings.

You will own test planning, data collection, incident reviews, and reporting, while mentoring staff and collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure quality releases and compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience with multiple stakeholders.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Experience interpreting requirements, writing test docs and acceptance criteria.
• US citizen per contract requirements and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the overall design and implementation of the QA program.
• Lead test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, mentoring and performance evaluations.
• Plan, execute, and report on testing for development and maintenance.
• Review and recommend improvements for test documentation.
• Develop test plans and procedures from requirements documents.
• Develop data collection plans and train operators.
• Review data collection forms and logs collected during tests.
• Review Test Incident Reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Support analysis of user requirements and design test plans.
• Collaborate with testing groups on issues and topics.
• Communicate upgrades, downtimes, and system changes timely.
• Report bugs and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform technical reviews and ensure quality processes.
