Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to drive QA strategy and automation testing for web-based applications. You will lead a testing team, design test environments, and ensure high-quality deliverables across remote or hybrid teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software testing experience with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing test documentation (e.g. Test Reports).
• Knowledge of Test Management, Automation toolsets and processes.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing process and cadence.
• Proficiency with test automation and test management tools like Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote/hybrid teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the QA program design and implementation.
• Develop test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Hire, train, and evaluate testing staff.
• Plan, execute, and report testing for software development and maintenance.
• Review and recommend test documentation.
• Develop test plans and procedures from requirements.
• Develop data collection plans and train operators.
• Review data collection forms and logs.
• Review Test Incident Reports for accuracy.
• Support analysis of user requirements and assist test planning.
• Collaborate with testing groups on issues.
• Communicate upgrades, downtimes, and system changes.
• Report bugs and escalate issues properly.
• Perform technical reviews and uphold quality processes.
