Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Columbus, OH is seeking a Store Lead to execute brand standards and enhance the teammate experience. Under guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will be the in-store expert for your department, delivering outstanding service and providing direction to teammates.

You will lead by example, coach and onboard teammates, plan 30-day work strategies, and ensure safe, inclusive operations.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking.
• Commitment to safety, loss prevention, and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-store team to deliver excellent customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Plan and organize staffing and workload with guidance from Store Manager.
• Provide hands-on coaching and onboarding for teammates.
• Maintain store safety, loss prevention, and policy compliance.
• Build an inclusive, people-first store culture and engage teammates daily.
