Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Lead in-store to drive brand standards and the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will act as the in-store expert for your department and lead by example to deliver exceptional service.

You will recruit and develop teammates, coach across shifts, and help plan daily tasks, events, and store initiatives. A strong focus on teamwork, empathy, and guest satisfaction is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with a ladder or platform.

• Assist with interviewing and onboarding new staff; help plan daily/30-day work plans.
