Qualifications

• 12+ years in application development or solution architecture.
• 5+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical architecture.

• Expertise in modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation.
• Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, and storage.
• Proven DevOps, CI/CD and Agile delivery experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and solution workshops with prospective clients.
• Translate requirements into scalable application architectures and roadmaps.

• Support RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and client proposals with technical input.

• Architect modernization initiatives including legacy migrations and cloud transitions.
• Collaborate with delivery teams for smooth pre-sales to delivery handoff.
• Advise on security, performance, governance and DevOps best practices.

We are seeking a highly experienced App Development Pre-Sales Architect to drive technical sales engagements, solution architecture, proposal development, and client advisory services. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, helping customers define application modernization strategies and architect scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and solution workshops with prospective clients.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable application architecture and implementation roadmaps.
• Design end-to-end application development solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, .NET, Power Platform, AI, and modern web technologies.
• Partner with sales teams to develop winning technical strategies for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and client proposals.
• Prepare solution architectures, technical diagrams, effort estimates, statements of work (SOWs), and project delivery approaches.
• Present technical solutions, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and executive-level presentations to customers.
• Define cloud-native, microservices, API-first, and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Architect application modernization initiatives including legacy system migration and cloud transformation programs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.
• Recommend best practices related to security, performance, scalability, governance, and DevOps.
• Work closely with Microsoft and technology partners to align solutions with industry best practices.
• Support pricing models, resource planning, risk assessments, and project estimations.
• Contribute to reusable accelerators, solution offerings, and go-to-market strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in application development, software engineering, or solution architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.

Required Certifications

• Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered applications, Azure OpenAI, Copilot technologies, and intelligent automation.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Experience in consulting, managed services, or system integration organizations.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Experience across Healthcare, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Government, or Professional Services industries.
• Additional Microsoft certifications in Azure, AI, Security, or DevOps.
