Job summary

Hancock Whitney seeks an API Integration Analyst to bridge business needs with API-led solutions. You will work with stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, and MuleSoft developers to translate requirements into technical specs and ensure alignment with standards.

The candidate should understand REST and SOAP, have banking or financial services exposure, and be able to support from requirements through testing and user support. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relationship management experience selling banking products.
• Proficient in credit underwriting fundamentals and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of commercial loan products, lending and regulatory compliance.
• API knowledge including API concepts and API-led architecture.
• Integration experience with REST and SOAP services.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Understanding of SQL and data mapping concepts.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting testing, defect resolution and post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Participate in design sessions with Enterprise Architecture, vendors, and developers.
• Translate requirements and designs into technical specifications for MuleSoft developers.
• Map business requirements to API-led architecture patterns.
• Work with MuleSoft developers to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural standards and design expectations.
• Review API designs, data mappings, and integration requirements for completeness.
• Support testing, defect resolution, and post-implementation support.
• Provide ongoing user support for APIs and integrations.
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
