First Citizens Bank is seeking a Software Engineer II - MuleSoft Engineer to design, develop, and manage integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform. The role emphasizes API-led connectivity, security policy enforcement, and scalable data transformations with DataWeave.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement interfaces, and ensure governance and performance across cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent software development experience.
• 2+ years in application software programming for degree holders; or 6+ years with a HS diploma.
• Experience with MuleSoft and API-led connectivity preferred.
• Banking/finance industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
• Implement integrations between MuleSoft and Salesforce using Anypoint Platform.
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven interfaces with DataWeave transformations.
• Follow SDLC, enforce security policies, and optimize performance.
