Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking an APC Student Placement Coordinator to serve as the main liaison for APC students, educational partners, and Beacon Medical Group leadership throughout the placement process.

Responsibilities include coordinating rotations from application to completion, managing applications and documentation, onboarding, and tracking outcomes while supporting recruitment and program development for the APC student pipeline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years administrative, program coordination, recruitment, education, healthcare operations, customer service, or related experience.
• Experience supporting students, onboarding processes, recruitment activities, workforce development, or complex tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for APC student placement inquiries, coordinate communication among students, educational institutions, clinical preceptors, recruitment, and leadership, and manage the placement process from application through rotation completion.
• Assist with matching students to available preceptors and clinical sites, communicate placement decisions, and follow up with students regarding placement offers and response timelines.
• Receive, review, organize, and track student applications and required documentation, including missing items, application status, school affiliation, anticipated graduation date, contact information, rotation dates, and placement status.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements, access requests, Oracle Learning Journeys assignments, training completion, login information, and system access instructions before each student’s scheduled rotation start date.
• Maintain placement tracking systems, rotation spreadsheets, and program databases to monitor future semester requests, placement outcomes, application volume, student status, preceptor assignments, program participation, and pipeline metrics.
• Support development and maintenance of the Beacon Medical Group APC student pipeline; coordinate post-rotation surveys and feedback collection; assist with opportunities to improve the student placement experience.
