Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure vacant apartment homes are repaired, prepped, and market-ready for new residents. The role covers make-ready work, caulking, painting, and general upkeep across communities.

You will inspect for damage, perform timely repairs, and assist with safety trainings and documentation while providing responsive service to residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and make-ready process.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, baths.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and makes necessary repairs.
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting curbs.
• Aids cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Completes make-ready checklists and maintenance docs.
• Follows safety policies and attends trainings.
• Delivers responsive customer service to residents.
