GPI Investment in Houston is seeking a reliable Porter to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and welcoming environment of our apartment community. You will keep common areas, lobbies, restrooms, and amenities neat and inviting.

Responsibilities include outdoor upkeep, assisting with apartment turns, minor maintenance, and reporting issues to management. Strong attention to detail, dependable work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in porter/janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas (hallways, lobbies, leasing office, restrooms, and amenities).
• Perform daily upkeep of outdoor areas (walkways, parking lots, trash/recycling areas).
• Assist with apartment turns, including cleaning units for new residents.
• Support the maintenance team with light tasks (changing light bulbs, minor repairs).
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or property damage to management promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and guests.
