Job summary

The Finger Companies is seeking a reliable Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our Houston apartment community. You will care for common areas, hallways and outdoor spaces to ensure the property remains welcoming for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, light maintenance, basic landscaping, and monitoring safety hazards to report to the Lead Maintenance. Saturday morning availability is required to cover weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturday mornings.
• Experience in property maintenance, grounds keeping, or a related field.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of common areas, including carpet cleaning, replacing light bulbs, trash collection.
• Minor landscaping- leaf blowing and power washing.
• Ensure trash and recycling areas are clean and organized.
• Clean community pool, pool area/grills and other outdoor spaces.
• Address minor repair requests and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor the property for safety hazards and report any issues to the Lead Maintenance.
